How does generating AI images in Image Studio work?+
Enter a prompt in Dutch or English and choose a style (illustration, photorealistic, diagram, anatomical). Image Studio generates several variants within seconds for you to pick from. You can then edit the image: crop, colour-correct, add layers or remove the background. It is not a Midjourney replacement for art projects — but a fast route to usable lesson visuals.
Which AI models are used for image generation?+
Image Studio uses various open and commercial image models, selected for quality and suitability for education. The exact model choice may change as better options become available. What stays consistent: your prompts and generated images are not used for model training. Read the details at /ai-belofte.
Can I upload and edit existing images?+
Yes. Upload PNG, JPG, WebP or HEIC. You then have access to layers, masks, filters, colour correction, lens correction, liquify, and a filter gallery. For teachers, removing the background is often the most-used feature — it works with one click on portraits, items and objects with clear edges.
How does Image Studio compare to Photoshop, Canva or Adobe Express?+
Photoshop is a professional image-editing program with a steep learning curve and a high price. Canva is design-oriented, not didactic. Adobe Express sits in between but lacks an educational context. Image Studio is built for teachers: fewer pro features than Photoshop, but didactic integration — your image goes straight into an interactive slide surrounded by polls and quizzes. May I use AI-generated images commercially or educationally?+
Yes, for educational use in your lessons and trainings. For commercial use outside LectaMe (for example a sales brochure), check the licence terms of the underlying model — you'll find them in /ai-belofte. AI-generated images are not a replacement for stock photos under strict licences; use common sense with imagery of people.
Can I create educational illustrations such as anatomy or diagrams?+
Yes, that is one of the strongest use cases. Example prompts: "Anatomical illustration of the heart, in cross-section, for MBO nursing" or "Flowchart of constructive alignment". Image Studio delivers images that fit straight into your presentation, and you can layer over them to point out or hide parts.
Does Image Studio work on a Chromebook or tablet?+
Yes. Everything runs in the browser. On a tablet the touch interface works for layers and filters; on a Chromebook it works fully. For large files (50MB+) or many layers at once, a laptop is more comfortable.
What does Image Studio cost?+
