Frequently asked questions
How does a Lectame template work?+
Open a template and you get a complete presentation with slides, interaction elements and didactic structure already filled in. Add your own topic, examples and branding. For teachers, this is the difference between a blank canvas and a working starting point — usually comparable to 60-80% done.
Can I adapt a template for my subject?+
Yes. Templates are a starting point, not a straitjacket. Delete slides, add some, reorder, edit questions, swap visuals via Image Studio, add a lesson video via Video Studio. The didactic skeleton helps; the content stays yours.
Are there also templates for my specific field?+
At the moment we have generic templates (interactive lesson, microlearning, formative check) and sector-specific ones (clinical reasoning for healthcare, training for businesses). Subject-specific templates for maths, languages, IT and engineering are on the roadmap. Tip: combine a generic template with your subject-specific content — that's usually the fastest.
Can I share my own presentation as a template?+
On the Team plan, yes — publish a presentation as a school template within your organisation. Colleagues see it in the template library and can fork it (copy it with room to adapt) without affecting the original. For public sharing: send us your template via /contact and we'll assess whether it joins the public library.
What if I can't find a template that fits?+
Use the AI presentation generator at /ai-presentatie-maken. Provide the topic, audience and lesson type, and Lectame builds a tailor-made template in 30 seconds. After that you customise it just as you would any template.
