A large part of vocational education takes place in the workplace. That's why LectaMe has its own practice environment for workplace mentors and supervisors. They record observations, feedback, placement hours and assessments for the same student who's learning at school. This way, the student, school and workplace work in one line, without separate forms or email attachments.

The role of AI
An AI coach helps workplace mentors with phrasing, rewriting and summarising, for example for feedback or a report.
What AI doesn't do: AI doesn't assess the student. The workplace mentor determines what is recorded.

With an account: To work with students you need an account with the role of workplace mentor. You only see the students linked to you.

Frequently asked questions
Does LectaMe support work placements (BPV)?
Yes. The practice environment is built for work placements: observations, feedback, placement hours, work processes, interim and final assessments and workplace exams, linked to the same student as at school.
What can a workplace mentor do with LectaMe?
Guide and track students, record observations and feedback, schedule conversations, approve hours and carry out assessments. There are also guides and short modules to strengthen mentoring skills.
Does a workplace mentor see all students?
No. A workplace mentor only sees the students linked to that workplace mentor. This is enforced on the server, not just in the interface.
Does the training company need to install software?
No. LectaMe works in the browser, on computer, tablet and phone.
How does the workplace connect with school?
What the workplace mentor records goes into the same guidance line used by the student and school. Feedback and assessments sit alongside the student's learning goals and portfolio.
