How do I engage 200 people live during a keynote?+
Open your presentation and share a QR code on screen. Participants scan it and join from their phone — no account, no app. Live polls gauge sentiment ("how do you feel about this?"), word clouds open the conversation ("what comes to mind when you think of X?"), open questions drive your Q&A ("what would you like to ask?"), and ranking questions prioritise what the audience finds important. Does it work on conference internet?+
The participant side is deliberately lightweight: text only, small state updates, no video streaming. It works on slow 4G and old conference Wi-Fi. The speaker side asks a little more (slides + media), but is optimised. If the connection really drops, your presentation keeps working offline — only the live interaction pauses.
Can people ask questions anonymously?+
Yes. The open-questions element accepts anonymous submissions. You receive them in real time on your cockpit and can moderate which ones you answer or read aloud yourself. For controversial topics or a large audience, this is the best way to surface the silent majority. For moderation-heavy sessions you can filter submissions or have them reviewed by a co-host.
How does Lectame differ from Slido or Mentimeter for speakers?+
