Learning objective (15 sec)
On screen: "After this video you can apply a pressure bandage, assess whether it works, and know what to do if it doesn't."
Show materials (20 sec)
What do you need? Sterile compresses, a pressure bandage, and possibly needle-holder material. Short close-ups.
Step 1: apply pressure (30 sec)
Demonstration. The narrator explains: where to press, how hard, and for how long. Visually show both hands on the wound.
Step 2: apply compresses (30 sec)
Sterile compresses on the wound, maintain pressure. Important: don't keep removing them to "take a look".
Step 3: apply pressure bandage (45 sec)
Apply the bandage tightly from distal to proximal, with overlap. Watch the circulation check — not too tight.
Check moment (15 sec, pause)
The video pauses automatically. A quiz question appears: "What do you do if the wound bleeds through the bandage?" Multiple choice. Students choose and receive feedback.
Step 4: check circulation (30 sec)
