What analytics don't do
LectaMe analytics are formative — to adjust your instruction, not to assess students. For grades, certification or legal evidence you use a formal assessment system or LMS.
No vanity metrics either: we don't show an "engagement score" or "learning style profile" — concepts that are methodologically weak. Instead, concrete data per learning objective that you can act on.

What data is in LectaMe analytics?+
Four dimensions. Participation (how many people are taking part at any moment), answers (which quiz questions are often wrong, which open answers come in), timing (per slide and session), sentiment (from polls and word clouds). On the Pro and Team plan you link this to learning objectives: you see the success rate per learning objective.
Are analytics GDPR-safe for underage students?+
Yes. LectaMe stores no identifiable student data. You see "8 of 15 wrong answers on question 3" — not "Tom Jansen answered incorrectly". For schools this is an important GDPR benefit: no traceable student data in the teacher cockpit. For formal assessment (grades) you use other systems.
What is the difference between Free, Pro and Team analytics?+
Free: basic participant counts per session. Pro: session analytics including answer distribution, timing and sentiment. Team: team dashboard with comparison between sessions (which trainer scores higher on understanding, which topic gets the best results) and links to learning objectives at organisation level.
Can I export analytics data?+
Yes. Per session you can download a PDF report for archiving, evaluation or management reporting. On the Team plan there is also CSV export for further analysis in your own tools (Excel, BI systems). Session data is kept for 12 months; you can delete it earlier via the settings.
How do I interpret analytics without drawing too many conclusions?+
Three rules. One: trends over incidents — a question that went badly once says less than a question that consistently goes badly. Two: combine quantitative with qualitative — data tells you what, not why. Three: hypothesis-driven — formulate a question beforehand and interpret data against it, not "fishing for insights". What's in the team dashboard?+
On the Team plan: an overview of all sessions by all trainers in the organisation, comparison between sessions (participant numbers, success rates, sentiment), per-trainer statistics and a per-learning-objective roll-up across the whole organisation. For L&D teams: input on which trainings work and which need improvement.
Can I use analytics for assessment or grades?+
No, that's not the intention. LectaMe analytics are formative — aimed at adjusting during and after the lesson. For summative assessment (grades, certification, legal evidence) you use a formal assessment system or LMS. LectaMe helps you improve your instruction; not to assess students.
